The Caligio Cord & String Bracelets collection is the heart of the catalog - every rope, cord, and string bracelet the brand makes, gathered in one page. A cord bracelet is the most wearable men's jewelry format there is: lightweight, comfortable, casual enough for a tee and clean enough under a watch. The collection spans Fortune marine-grade Milan rope, Gio soft cotton cord, Omega shackle bracelets, Nautical rope, and Binate double-cord styles, in dozens of colors.
Every cord bracelet from Caligio closes with 316L surgical stainless steel hardware - a D-shackle, adjustable screw clasp, or anchor depending on the line - and the steel is hypoallergenic, nickel-free, and tarnish-free. Fortune marine-grade rope is fully waterproof for shower, swim, and sweat; cotton cord styles wear best kept dry. Sizes run S to XL covering wrists from 16 cm to 20.5 cm, with M the most popular for men. Prices start at $29, with most styles at $39 and 3-piece bundles at $99. Designed in California, gift-boxed, ships worldwide.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a cord or string bracelet?
A cord or string bracelet is a band made from woven rope, cotton, or marine-grade cord rather than metal links. Caligio cord bracelets pair the soft, lightweight cord with a 316L steel clasp, giving a casual look that stays comfortable through all-day wear and slides easily under a watch.
What materials do the cord bracelets use?
The collection uses marine-grade Milan rope (Fortune), soft cotton cord (Gio, Omega, Nautical, Rio), and double-cord weaves (Binate, Monro). All close with 316L surgical stainless steel hardware. Marine-grade rope is the most durable and fully waterproof; cotton is the softest and most casual.
Are cord bracelets waterproof?
It depends on the cord. Fortune marine-grade rope is fully waterproof - shower, swim, sweat, no need to remove it. Cotton cord styles such as Gio and Nautical wear best kept dry, since cotton holds moisture. The 316L steel clasp on every piece is fully rust-free.
What size cord bracelet should I order?
Size M (medium) is the most popular size for men and fits most standard wrists. The full range covers S (16 cm) to XL (20.5 cm). Wrap a tape measure around your wrist where the bracelet will sit, add a quarter inch for comfort, and match the result to the size chart.
Are cord bracelets hypoallergenic?
Yes. The clasp hardware is 316L surgical stainless steel - nickel-free, copper-free, with no green-wrist reaction. The natural cotton and rope cord materials are also skin-safe for continuous daily wear, suitable for sensitive skin or metal allergies.
Will the cord fray or unravel?
No. Caligio cord ends are sealed into the steel hardware so they do not fray or unravel with normal wear. Marine-grade rope is engineered for years of open-water use. With basic care, a cord bracelet holds its shape and color for years.
Can I stack cord bracelets together?
Yes, cord bracelets are the easiest format to stack. Run two or three in mixed colors and textures - a Fortune rope, a Gio cotton, a Binate double-cord - for a layered look. Cord pieces are slim and lightweight, so a stack stays comfortable all day.
Are cord bracelets good for everyday wear?
Yes, they are the most everyday-friendly format in the catalog. The cord is soft against the skin, the profile is slim enough for any sleeve, and the casual look pairs with everything from gym clothes to a button-down. Most first-time bracelet wearers start with a cord style.
Which cord bracelet should I buy first?
Fortune Black or Fortune Navy Blue at $39 is the safest first pick - marine-grade rope, fully waterproof, a 316L steel D-shackle. Choose Gio for the softest slim cotton everyday option, or the Fresh Bundle at $99 to get three coordinated colors at the best per-piece price.
